On Sunday 5th September I am taking part in the Adidas 5k Women's Challenge in London to help raise money for the Cystitic Fibrosis Trust. My daughters, Rachel and Sarah and our good friends Claire and Lowri Chapman and Khadisha Caldwell-Parris are also accompanying me on this endeavour and together we are Team Charlie.

The gorgeous little boy in the photos is Charlie Lawton, my nephew, and he has cystic fibrosis. He is a fun-loving, active and completely normal 2 year old, except for the fact that he lives with this awful disease every day of his life. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust so that they can continue their work in finding a cure for those suffering from this disease. A cure is so close, closer than it has ever been, but the CF Trust need more funds so that they can keep working towards this crucial goal and they rely entirely on your support.
