You may be aware that I am going to Mumbai in March for four months to work with a charity called 'Oasis' on a project called the 'Aruna Project'. The project works alongside women caught in the commercial sex industry; befriending them, providing vocational skills and supporting their children. 

As you will see by the Event title I had planned to run a half marathon in order to raise money to give to the project when I go out there in March. Unfortunately I sustained a knee injury and much to my disappointment was unable to complete the run. However, on the 14th March I completed the 3 elements of a triathlon consisting of a mile swim, 18 mile bike ride and a 7 mile walk.
