Last year, when Caron fell ill and before cancer was diagnosed, she said that when she got better, one of the things she would do would be to help fund raise for the Ty Hafan Children's charity. Unfortunately, she didnt get the chance.
This year, in her name, a group of 'Her Girls' dedicated Caron's July birthday weekend to completing a Triathlon, many for the first time ever! This was a great success with lots of laughter, inspiration and memorable moments.
We cushioned the blow with a personal massage therapist on hand and a celebratory meal at Champagne o' clock. She would have expected nothing less!
Thank you for the supporters that made it up to Dorney Lake, who laughed with us and exuberantly cheered for us and if by chance you have found the time to donate on this site or given a personal donation- then a HUGE 'Thank you' from us all.
We have decided that this will become an annual event...next year we have to bring a friend...so LOOK OUT!
