Story

Alison's Story:

 Occupation: Interior Designer

I am the mother of four lovely girls and I also run my own design business. I lost my husband - their father - to cancer when the girls were young. Needless to say we are a tight-knit family unit who appreciate and value the privilege of a good home, education and most of all love and security, Through Cash & Rocket I have been provided with the opportunity to give something back to society and help those women and children in Africa less fortunate have the chance to a better life. In addition to raising money, this unique fundraising adventure will also increase awareness about the issues these mothers and children face on a daily basis - and help towards building a better, brighter future for them.

This is the second time that I will be joining the Cash & Rocket Tour and I am delighted to be able to play a small part in making a big difference. I would be extremely grateful if you feel you are able to make a donation - no matter how small - to enable us to raise money for this incredibly worthwhile cause.

Dorian's Story:

Im so proud to partake in the 2014 Cash and Rocket adventure and hope we can rise awareness and funds to change the lives of so many women and children in Africa who do not have the opportunities my parents afforded me growing up in America and that my daughters have living in the UK.

When people ask me what I do I usually start to laugh and reply: "what don't I do..?!"... Being a Mother has been my 'dream job' but on the side I've also enjoyed working as a stylist, clothing designer, television, producer, journalist, interior decorator and Ive even managed a girl band..what can I say -- I don't like to be bored and never want to say 'coulda, shoulda, woulda'.

I add this adventure to the list of opportunities my life has allowed me to take advantage of and count my blessings that I'm able to give back and help others. I hope you will support me and my inspirational co-pilot Alison whom I met when I moved to London five years ago. Between us we have six daughters so we know all to well. if girls are empowered with the right tools they can, and will move mountains!

Lets do this together!!

Thanks in advance. Love Dorian
