I'm currently fixing a date for Saturday 4th August!! I'm still DEFINITELY doing it! Come rain or shine I'm chucking myself out that plane! 

I am going to be doing an "Accelerated Freefall Solo Skydive" basically after a day's training I'm chucking myself out of an aeroplane at 10,000ft... not attached to anyone else or having my parachute deployed for me!! What fun!

I'm Skydiving to raise money for Diabetes UK.  My mum has diabetes and in my last job working at Manchester Royal Infirmary as a Health Care Support Worker (Unqualified Nurse) I have seen some of the gruesome effects that untreated and poorly managed diabetes can have. 

Diabetes UK offer valuable support to people suffering from diabetes all over the UK.

I AM DOING THIS SKYDIVE!!!!

Because of training availability and also a mix up with the organisers about paying for the jump, I have had two delays. I was meant to be doing my jump in November 2006. Due to my lack of getting myself organised and the thought of jumping out of an aeroplane in winter... it's taken me until now to get my ass in gear (maybe the fear put me off!!)!!
