On 5th August 2019, I am taking part in a 10,000 ft Tandem Skydive to raise money for TOG (Tameside Oldham & Glossop) Mind - The Mental Health Charity, in  memory of my lovely niece Sarah Walker who died on Christmas Day, leaving her little boy Ethan & her family heartbroken.

TOG Mind is a charity that was very close to Sarah’s heart, so it means a lot to support them in her memory. 

Even though I’m petrified of heights, I’ve chosen to do a skydive as this challenge is my way of doing something positive to make sure that people facing mental health problems are not alone .

Many people are fighting an inner battle that unfortunately we cannot see or they may not be able to speak about. Over 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in our lifetime. 

Mind aims to improve mental health support for those suffering, increase the understanding of mental health and awareness of different mental health problems.
