Thanks for visiting my fundraising page and taking the time to donate some of your hard earned cash to a very worthwhile cause, Marie Curie Cancer Care. Much appreciated!!!

As you know (or maybe not) I am doing a Cross Channel Sail from Portsmouth to St Malo on 11-14th July to raise money for Marie Curie.........NOT LONG NOW!!!! There are four yachts racing over the English Channel and back. It is due to take 4 days and nights, unless we end up in Fiji or somewhere equally lovely. You can follow our progress on www.ondeck.co.uk/mariecurie. I'm on the yacht Isis, so please cheer me on with a text or two!!!

This is my last ditch appeal to you to help me reach the £2000 target...........and avoid bag packing in Tesco's!!!! Not only that, you will be helping a fantastic charity, which I know first-hand, does an amasing job helping some inspirational people during their battle with cancer.

Wee update on fund-raising events so far:-

Firstly, I managed to tease the money from your wallets/purses by holding a 007 (Bond) themed Casino Charity Night in June, at Behind The Wall, Falkirk.The night was a great success and we raised over £800. The band Soul-fi were fantastic as were everyone who helped out especially Colin, Sean and Stuart.......way to go charming all the money off folk. Your patter went down a treat with everyone!!!Huge thanks to everyone who made it a fun night.

The next adventure involved the 'Famous Five', 95 mile'n it, air guitaring and 'Smoking across the water' along the West Highland Way. We raised over £110, (and a few eyebrows) along the way shaking my cans . We even became T.V celebs as the Official Caledonian Challenge support group!!! Thanks for some great memories guys. xx
