Sparks raises money to fund pioneering child health research across the UK, helping to find new treatments and cures for children and families who desperately need them.

Story

We have now completed this challenge! You can read more about the 24 hours here. We are still active raising money for Sparks, if you would like to make a donation please do at the following Justgiving page. http://www.justgiving.com/chainbow.

As part of Chainbow's effort to raise £61,767 for SPARKS, 3 brave Chainbow staff members (and their trusting friends) will be tackling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, and doing it in the space of 24 hrs...now that is going to be challenging! A total of 480 miles of driving, largely during the night and climbing a total of approximately 3000 vertical meters makes this a special kind of challenge, and not one to be taken lightly. Between us we aim to raise a minimum of £4,500 for SPARKS.

SPARKS is the only UK children’s charity that funds medical research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine and this makes them unique. They tackle conditions as diverse as cerebral palsy, meningitis, spina bifida, childhood arthritis, pre-eclampsia, childhood cancers and the dangers of premature birth.
