We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

The aim of my challenge is to try and climb Kilimanjaro for personal achievement and to raise some money for Cancer Research.

I have become involved in this challenge through a meeting with Mark Biffin from BT, who is taking a team from BT back to Africa to re-visit the Kibera Slums after they carried out some outstanding fund raising in 2007 to provide food for the children for a year. Whilst back in Africa the team decided that they would like to challenge themselves in climbing Kilimanjaro to try and raise some more funds to help provide additional resourses for a school which teaches the kids from the slums.

I will be providing some funds myself for this but wanted to raise some money for Cancer Research due to my Mother being diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year. She has now had treatment and is on the mend again.

Please give as much as you can as I think the trek is going to test my mental and physical fitness!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
