Story

TEAM PISCES (according to the picture above) ; Jennifer Cohen, Luke Wyles, Davina Downie & Diana Dawson

The picture above indicates we are going to raise money by standing in our wetsuits.  This is partially true.  Actually, some of us will be standing in our wetsuits while others swim.  This will be on a rotational basis.  OK, enough nonsense - -

WE'RE SWIMMING THE ENGLISH CHANNEL ! ! ! !   While the distance is a mere 22 miles, we hear that it swims like 30+ miles.  This will be conducted during the first week of August, 2010.  We will literally be on stand-by during that week awaiting favourable conditions and the call of the captain of The Pathfinder (a seaworthy vessel of huge proportions).

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  The Children's Hospice Association Scotland is a very worthy cause.  While we have been working on this for a VERY long time, the ultimate recognition is your acknowledgement of our achievement by donating others who are in need.  There is no greater feeling than giving to children who really need the very personal care that CHAS gives.

Here is the link to the CHAS web-site to see a film that describes what they're all about.
