Hi all, 

We are aiming to raise £10,000 as a team for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting a life-threatening illness.

We are a team of 11 (9 cyclists and 2 vehicle support drivers) cycling from Charfield to Paris. We are setting off from the Plough pub in Charfield on Monday 6th September 2010 and will arrive in the centre of Paris on Saturday 11th September 2010 then returning home by mini bus the following day.

With our bike ride of 404 miles we will be able to help grant some of them their greatest wish of all leaving them with treasured memories which for some of them would never be possible without the help of our donations.

The bike ride will consist of 6 days of cycling. The first 3 days we will be cycling 72.6 miles per day arriving at Dover to catch the ferry on the morning of Thursday 9th September. Once we arrive in Calais we have another 3 days to cycle 186 miles to the centre of Paris which will be 62 miles each day to complete our ride.
