I am aiming to raise GBP2000 to be split across 2 charities, Get Kids Going (this page) and Step Forward (http://www.justgiving.com/charlessanford1). They are both charities focused on children, Get Kids Going supports those disadvantaged physically whilst Step Forward provides advice, counselling and personal development.

Thank you for helping me achieve my target. I promise the challenge I am taking on cannot be done lightly and I commenced training at the beginning of Jan (hence the photo of me dressed up for freezing conditions) for an event that is not until 20th July. I need to complete 170km in 1 day over the terrain of the Alps and as at January the most I had ever done in 1 day is 120km over relatively flat ground. It is not a foregone conclusion that I will finish but that is my goal and I commit to doing everything I can to achieve it.
