Story

Hello

First of all, thanks for having a look at this.

So I thought it was about time that I stopped marathon running about other cities and am doing a marathon version of a staycation here in London - apparently it's the latest thing.  And 6th time lucky, I am hoping to break the elusive 3:30 barrier .. although it's my personal nemisis so it's a long shot.

Even more importantly, it's for a good cause. What is happening in Haiti is so harrowing and they will need a lot of help and money for some time to get over it. Everything I raise will head their way so please do dig deep and donate now.

Now I feel slightly biased in saying this but.. "donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity". Plus it's true:-)

Think that's all except to say that our lovely team here thought it would be a good idea to follow my training on our JustGiving website. Now I am no Haruki Murakami so I can't promise much more than the likes of "get up, run, eat, sleep" and the odd shot of my new permanently attached trainers - but if you are bored of Facebook you can check it out at http://runners.justgiving.com/

Thanks again - and if you can be there to cheer on 25th April, then be!

Charlie
