Has run 6k 2 days in a row this week. Add that to the 18 mile walk last weekend and the 12 mile walk this weekend and I think I'm on schedule!

Off training tomorrow with an 18 mile walk!!
Everyone’s got a tale about a slightly crazy member of the family but what you probably didn’t realise is that it could be down to dementia.
I recently lost my grandmother to vascular dementia so I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for the awareness of the disease and for the charity so... This November I have signed up for a trek around the Kathmandu area of Nepal which is going to be a little taxing to say the least!
For most people who know me, I am sure by this point you are probably laughing to yourself as I’m one of those people who would, if given the chance, drive to the shop at the end of the road or basically just be lazy! To cut it short the trek will see me walking for about 6 or 7 hours a day (sometimes more, sometimes less) for 6 days, it’s going to be pretty tough going but I feel that the Alzheimer’s society is a very worthwhile cause and I hope you will support me.
I will be organising some special charity events over the next few months to help me reach my target, all of which I will let everyone know about.
If you would like any more information on Alzheimer’s or the work that the society do please have a look at http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/
