I did it!!!

It was a painful experience, made all the more dramatic by pouring rain and a burst of hail on the approach to Big Ben, but I managed to run all the way and finished in 4 hours and 24 minutes. I completed the course with a good friend from uni, the lovely Katie Bennetts, and we crossed the finish line arm in arm and on the verge of tears! It really is quite an emotional experience and I'm thoroughly relieved not to have to run another step for the forseeable future.
