Story
Fellow Chelsea-ites,
Thirteen of your colleagues are knuckling down and getting into shape to run the Flora London Marathon on April 22nd 2007.
For those who do not know, a marathon is run over 26.2 miles (42km) and this requires steadfast commitment to train from all those running, just to finish it, let alone finish it in a fast time.
We are running the marathon in aid of the club's charity partner, Clic Sargent and we must all raise at least £1,500 each. Your support in reaching this target is hugely appreciated.
We have also had wonderful support from adidas, Darren Garrett, Kim James and Deanna Pepperell (Chelsea Club) in getting the team prepared but we would very much like your support. We would all love to see you there on the day to help us get over the finishing line and of course, to ensure that in the meantime, rather than a quick drink after work, you persuade us that a quick run would be better for us.
We will be training as a team every Tuesday night and you are all more than welcome to join us. We meet outside CWoS at 6pm.
Thanking you in advance,
Rob Barnes, Ben Bartlett, Adam Burrage, Richard Daish, Katy Fearne, Darren Garrett, Chris Gleeson, Matthew Lewis, Keith Mott, Deanna Pepperrell, Paul Ramos, Kelly Webster, Ben Wells.
