Well now i've recovered enough to type a few words,

I have to say a massive thankyou to all the kind people that have helped us achieve our goals both through the paddle and through the sponsorship, you have truly made all the difference....even though we got attacked by angry swans several times,

Have to say thankyou to both support crews Dawn Larkin & Steve Dobbing, Vicki & Dave Lowthorpe - thank you so much for keeping us going with food and encouragement, and Sharon for turning up in the pitch black night cheering us on, you made me smile x

This was the hardest thing we have ever done, we won the k2 all the way race and also beat the record, setting a new best time of 19hrs 51mins 53secs :)

Ok now we have raised the amount we had hoped for, Thankyou so much to everyone that has helped us, donations can still be made....

Our next step is to travel from hull to cheshire tonight, camp over and wait for our 9:20am start, wish us luck as i think we are going to need it...lee and andy..

We are going to try and attempt the longest paddle we have ever tried before, it is a 96 mile and 92 portage race which has to be completed in 24hours.  With just two of us paddling and only 24 hours to complete I think this is going to be some challenge.

Due to Andy breaking lee's finger this paddle seems to be getting more interesting as the days go by.  Thanks Andy..

My inspiration to take part in this event is my auntie, Sharon Jones who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Whilst still dealing with the illness she is carrying on with her normal life, both family and working!!

I feel that it's up to us to help her and others with this illness.
