Thanks for visiting this page....wildlife, as you know,  has always been a big part of our father's life and has gone hand in hand with his passion for photography.  He had a keen eye and many of you will have appreciated the beauty of his work.  

Our father had many animals himself, with Rover (yes, that was his real name) our dog having a special place in his heart. He has travelled the world with my mother and seen much of its wonder, both natural and man-made, but nothing excited him as much as seeing the animals roaming free.  On a shaky boat seeing hippos or a bumpy Jeep watching lions eat, he was familiar with them all. He has been across the world but his favourite continent was Africa.  

Dad was full of compassion and empathy for every living being around him.  He loved to celebrate both life and friendship.  Dad made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and had a unique ability to put anyone at ease with his trademark smile and honest and enjoyable companionship.  If you are thinking of buying flowers or celebrating his life with a drink, we would be grateful if you instead consider donating to one of the charities close to his heart.
