Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Muslim Hands will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
The money we are raising is for children of war through Muslim Hands Green Ribbon week.
About Green Ribbon Week
The Muslim Hands Green Ribbon Week is an annual initiative to increase awareness about the plight of innocent children of war and to raise funds to help suffering children all over the world.
From helping landmine victims in Afghanistan to providing sports equipment for school children in West Africa, Green Ribbon Week will help better the lives of thousands of children worldwide.
Each year thousands of shops and businesses sell Muslim Hands Green Ribbons, and numerous fundraising events take place in schools, mosques and places of work up and down the country.
Without your generosity, these thousands of children will continue to be affected by the pain, fear and isolation that War inflicts on them.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
p.s. Just a quick note to re-assure those that are donating that the money donated will go to the cause and not to fund Saida and I on our venture. All expenses; flight etc have been paid out of our own pockets.
Also no donation is too small,it all goes to help the cause so please donate.
Please note
We plan but Allah subhanu wa t’ala is the best of Planners.
Sister Abda is now not able to participate in this event.
Those of you that know us will know sister Abda is very seriously ill in hospital. She has asked Saida to take over from her, and do the walk instead.
When we first thought about joining this venture Saida contemplated on joining us too, but as she was doing the Edinburgh walk to raise funds for Cancer research she decided it was going to be too hard to raise money for both charities.
Just goes to show; you do not know what tomorrow brings.
Your du’as (prayers) are needed for our beloved sister.
May Allah subhanu wa t’ala grant her a speedy recovery and may her illness prove a means of purification for her. Ameen.
With much love and peace.
