Last year I reenlisted as a reservist so am very aware of the need to support our service men and women injured mentally and physically by their service to us in vicious conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. They should have access to the best facilitates available to aid their recovery from horrific wounds. As this is not always provided by the state ‘Help for Heroes’ was set up to bridge the gap.

I will be running in the Keswick Half Marathon on Sunday 3^rd May to raise money for this worthwhile course. This is the 1^st time I have attempted to run this sort of distance, so it is quite a physical challenge.
