On the 6th September 2008, we will be travelling out to Chamonix, France in an attmept to reach the summit of Mont Blanc.

Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe, standing at 4,808m / 15,774ft. It has a reputation as being one of the most dangerous in the Alps due to the unpredictable weather conditions and its position at the westerly tip of the alpine chain.

In order to maximise our chances of reaching the summit safely we will be undertaking all the required fitness and acclimatization training.
