The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Well, I've done it, and thank you to everyone who supported me.

It was an amazing day - stood at the start line with over 5500 other people in the gale force winds and hail stones, what a great start to the race. But as everyone told me the atmosphere was superb and the crowds gave us all loads of support, especially to the hundreds of Guide Dogs Runners!

I ran in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind-the largest breeder of working dogs in the world today. They care for over 5,000 working guide dogs, plus over 2,000 puppies being walked, dogs in training, and retired dogs.

Sponsoring me online is the most efficient way for me to raise funds for Guide Dogs. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you - that's almost an extra £3 for every £10 donated!

I really appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference but please give generously! ;o)

Thanks,
xchris
