We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Ciaran Wyatt (our Grandson) was admitted to Parrot ward in G.O.S.H, when he was 7 weeks old and had surgery on his head days later. Everyone loved him there, but it was a very hard time for his Mum Angie, Dad Mike, Sister Shannon, GreatGrandmother, Grandparents, Auntie, Uncle, extended family and friends. It all went on for about 3 months and although Ciaran is well, happy and living in Australia now...we know G.O.S.H Saved his life. I want to celebrate Ciarans 5th (20th Nov 09) Birthday, and show our gratitude to G.O.S.H. by having my head shaved on his birthday. We are indebted to them.  Thank you to everyone who will  support me in this challenge.
So please sponsor me now!

My Head Shave is now done. We cannot possibly Thank Everyone for all their verbal and financial support. Keeping in mind, we were doing this as a celebration of Ciarans life, and in gratitude to G.O.S.H. for saving his life. Ciaran had an excellent 5th Birthday...and had a party too.

We are overwhelmed at the response from everyone, some known to various members of the family, some not, but our Gratitude is there for you all.      The justgiving page stays open until january 1st.  We may make the £1000 yet.  A special Thank You to Mary & Mick Cogman from Adelaide, Australia,  who have sent a cheque for £20 made payable to gosh, totally unexpected and very appreciated.  A heartfelt Thanks to everyone from the "whole family". x x
