Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. From 30 April to 4 May I shall be walking the MacMillan Way West, from just north of Taunton through Somerset and over Exmoor to Landkey, a total of 67 miles, to raise money to support the work of St. Luke's Hospice. It costs over £3 m to run the hospice and the hospice-at-home service each year, but only about 25% of this comes from public funds: the rest has to be raised from the charity shops and sponsored events like the walk. Walkers pay all their own transport and accommodation costs so that every penny of sponsorship money goes to the hospice. I shall be most grateful if you can help me reach my target.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Luke's Hospice (Kenton Grange) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Last year an extra £12.5k was raised by the Cumbria Way Walk just through Gift Aid.
