Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for Maggie's for Monster Bike and Hike. On the 2nd and 3rd of May our team of 6, the Roo team, is mountain biking 30 miles then walking 22 miles (silver) or 43 miles (gold) from Fort William to Inverness down the Great Glen along Loch Lochy and Loch Ness.

Maggie's is a cancer charity that provides support for anyone suffering from cancer, and for their families and friends. Maggie's Centres are homely and imaginatively designed, unlike hospitals, and provide opportunities to share experiences and obtain moral and practical support.

We all know people who are enduring the pain of cancer so any sponsorship would be much appreciated.

The photo shows me en route to the Carfraemill Pub over the Lammermuirs and back for a 17 mile training walk - the only training walk! John and I got lost on our way back in the dark and eventually arrived back at 1.30 am when we were apprehended by the keeper. The biking training has been more extensive.
