Story
Well, we did it! On 4th July The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport helped Transaid to commemorate their 10 years of independence as a charity with our own Independence Day party!
With special appearances from Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day, Minnie Mouse Elvis and Dorothy and the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz it was a day packed with food and fun!
The food and drink for the day was sponsored by Triad Creative Marketing and Design, meaning that all the funds donated can go straight to Transaid.
Including the donations that staff made to be involved (and those donated by colleagues from the industrial estate we are based on!) we’re well on our way to reaching out £1,000 target. Please do help us to get there by making a donation online now.
Don't forget that if you are a tax payer JustGiving will claim the tax back on your donation, making it worth almost one third more to Transaid at no extra cost to you!
The £1,000 we hope to raise can train 5 transport officers in basic transport management techniques, helping health vehicles reach more people and save more lives.
Thank you for your support on behalf of CILT and Transaid!
