Now a little about our chosen cause...
Cotswold Care Hospice, Minchinhampton, was founded in 1988 to improve the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. They are not part of the NHS; they are an independant charity and every year they help more than 500 people across Gloucestershire. All their services are free of charge and they need to raise in excess of 1.5 million each year to keep this going. They rely heavily on the good will and donations of others and are currenly expanding their services throughout Gloucestershire, in order to help even more people.
Please see their website www.cotswoldcare.org.uk if you would like more information on the hospice.
And what we intend to do...
Cirencester College Ladies will be completing a 10 mile midnight walk throughout Cirencester on Friday 25th June (hopefully it won't be raining!!) in the hope that we can all raise lots of money for this worthy cause. If you would like to join the team, visit http://www.fancyagirlsnightout.co.uk/Midnight-Walk-in-Cirencester.htm to register and then email jlo@cirencester.ac.uk or nmo@cirencester.ac.uk, and we will add your details to this site...see you there.
