On Sunday 27th August, Cirencester Pilgrims will be hosting a charity football match, versus a Cotswold Churches League XI, in aid of Longfield Hospice, and in loving memory of Carl Cox.

Entry is free, but donations at the door would be hugely appreciated. Doors to the Cornium Stadium will open at noon, with the match kicking-off at 14:00. 

The bar will be open and food will be available throughout the afternoon. For added entertainment (if the football wasn't exciting enough), there will be a bouncy castle and an ice cream van.

Following the match, there will be a raffle, with all proceeds going to Longfield Hospice. Current auction items include:

• Football signed by the 2016/17 Manchester United squad 
• Football signed by the 2016/17 Sunderland squad
• Pennant signed by the 2016/17 West Brom squad
  
• Pennant signed by the 2016/17 Middlesbrough squad
