Story

As most of you will know, a number of us have decided to participate in the JP Morgan Chase 5.6km run taking place in Battersea park on 8th July (we didn't sign up just because of the free post-run barbecue and beers....honest!).

Although the normal reaction seems to be "5.6km?! That's nothing!" it is in fact, would you believe, a challenge for some of us! As ever in the face of adversity, we aim high and are hoping for a good few, if not all, sub-25 minute times - at least for the more novice runners amongst us. We will of course let you all know how we get on.

This year we are running for the Help a London Child charity whom provide financial support to grass-root projects working with London’s less advantaged children and young people. Anything you give us will go a long way and with the Bank matching our final number, we are hoping to raise a decent amount of money for the charity.

So ladies and gents, please dig deep and by all means come and watch us run gracefully (or tumble weak and red faced) across the finish line.....entertainment guaranteed.

Thanks in anticipation to all of you and wish us luck!
