Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donations. It was an amazing day and I officially cycled 64 miles for your money, not just the measly 57! (They changed the route on the day!!)
Together with off-line donations I am stunned to inform you, dear donors, that you have made the amount above Redearth - amazing!! Trying to round it up to £3,000, so if you know anyone who meant to donate, please remind them!
I cycled with the teachers who set up this small local charity and heard all about how the money is spent. They deliver the training personally to Uganda so be assured that we know exactly where your money is going.
Still no photos, hope to oblige soon!

After cycling trips around France, Africa and India in my younger years it's time to get back on my bike! A team of 16 of us are trying to raise £50,000 to build a teacher training centre and buy resources. My son, aged 9, explains more below:
"This Money is going to a very good cause. It Is going to Kirasa Muslim School In Masindi, Uganda. I met the headteacher and the deputy head and they were really nice and sweet. We did Questions and Answers with them. The Head (Shamim) and the Deputy (Zahara) are really trying to help their thankful pupils so please donate.
It is going to Redearth, a teachers training charity that trains teachers in the not so rich places. Please donate because this is going to a really good cause. My Maths Teacher and My Class Teacher are flying out to Masindi this Summer. The really good thing is that the teachers above and others are helping with the disasters that happen there which were that the roof was destroyed. All my Mum and Me want to do is help them and other needy schools. We all want best for them so we would be so thankful if you donated. My school has this special link with Kirasa Muslim School.
Thank You for reading the story." Musa Ali (Year 4 Pupil) N.B. 15% of donation to CLIC sargent cancer.
