Story

Hello You!

Thank you very much for visiting my Justgiving page.

This year I have been personally touched by the fabulous work that charities do so I wanted to help! I am organising a Charity Fundraising Week for St Elizabeth Hospice and Myeloma UK. The finale of this week is a Beach Themed Party on September 6th with a disco, live band, auction and a prize draw.

The money raised for St Elizabeth Hospice will be donated to a Tribute Fund in memory of my Grandad, Ray Pryke who spent his final days there last year. The hospice care was wonderful and they rely heavily on fundraising to help them provide the service they do, hence the reason for this event.

St Elizabeth Hospice has kindly agreed to donate half of the money raised on this page to my other chosen charity Myeloma UK. Myeloma is a little known form of Bone Marrow cancer and this is a dedicated organisation which funds research and provides care and support for patients and their families. This year my mum was diagnosed with Myeloma, and this organisation has proved invaluable and I wanted to donate the money to this charity to help them on their mission to find a cure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support these amazingly worthy causes by digging deep and making a donation - remember every little helps!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate to these charities, they will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement are added to your donation.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU AND LOTS OF LOVE

About the charity

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.
