SKY-DIVE FOR OUR HEROES

On saturday 31st october myself, Clare woolley will do a tandem sky-dive in support of Help for Heroes.

from a minimum of 10,000 feet and attached to the front of and experienced instructor (i hope!), i will jump. After leaving the aircraft i will spend 30-40 seconds in freefall, travelling at approx 120 MPH!!

The event will take place at: British parachute school, Langar airfield, Langar, Nottingham  NG13 9HY.

I am doing this because my boyfriend is in the army and i feel that himself and his colleagues are risking their lives on our behalf.....After recently completing his 2nd tour of afghanistan he knows only too well the reality of the war zone.....casualities & fatalities. So i would like to give a little of something back to them.

this will be an enourmous personal challenge for me, because as much as i love going on planes i NEVER thought id jump out of one!!

I have to raise a minimum of £395. but would really like to make a difference and have set a personal goal of £1,000. All donations are greatfully recieved, no matter how big or small.

This is needed, it is urgent and it is making a very real difference to the armed forces. Thank you for your support; they need our help and they need it now  =)
