Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The HQ staff of ClinTec International are looking to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust by running the 10k and half marathon at the Great Scottish Run on Sunday 5th September 2010 in Glasgow.

Please donate all you can to help this worthwhile cause.

At a time when your body is changing, your social life is everything and you're still trying to figure out who you are, getting cancer can seem like an impossible blow to take. But thanks to Teenage Cancer Trust, thousands of young people are taking it, and coming out fighting. And you can help them.  Teenage Cancer Trust builds specialised units within NHS hospitals which are tailored to meet the needs of young people diagnosed with cancer. The units aim to combine the best possible team and the best possible therapy with the best possible environment for teenagers and young adults.  We want to ensure that these young people can have the most positive outlook giving them the fight and right attitude to beat cancer.  In Scotland, over 200 young people are diagnosed with cancer every year. We are running in aid of these young people in Scotland and hope to  raise as much money as possible to help Teenage Cancer Trust build another unit in  to ensure that every young person diagnosed with cancer in Scotland has access to one of our units.
