"Clive Barter was a well loved and very active member of our village, a lively and outgoing personality whose life, tragically cut short, involved being an active member of the church, the local pub and most of all a fantastic father and husband.

 

A number of parishioners and friends are joining together to bring the church to the pub by walking the St. Swithuns Way starting at Winchester Cathedral passing some 25 miles later St Mary’s Church and finally finishing at the Anchor in Froyle which Clive normally visited after Church.

 

We are raising money for St Mary’s Church, Froyle to provide a further vestment cabinet, allowing the Church to display more of the beautiful vestments the church and congregation are rightly proud of."
