Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The last time I ran a marathon was 7yrs ago and let me tell you the body I inhabit now is a rather different one. Something happens to your body post 30yrs! For me this simply means more hard work...

Children with Leukaemia funds research into causes + treatments of blood cancer in children. They support families through welfare programmes and campaign on their behalf. They do all of this and so much more without receiving any outside funding, hence they rely entirely on donations from the public, and that is where you and I come in. 

I can't tell you what a worthwhile cause this is and what amazing work CWL do out in the field.  

So the fund-raising part. My job is to train every day for the next three months until 7th November 2010, the date of the NYC marathon. Then all I have to do is complete the 26.2 miles on the actual day. Can't wait to see what the New York supporters are like. 

So, before that I have to ask all of you, my beautiful friends and family, to donate whatever you can afford, and I mean whatever you can to support the great work that CWL do.
