As you may be aware Ursula's father died in 2007 after suffering with Alzheimers for a number of years.  Prior to this Ursula's grandmother also suffered a similar fate and died when we were both teenagers.  Clearly the impact of Alzheimers has had a significant effect on both of our lives and after seeing the impact it has had on so many other people we have decided to make a personal contribution to raising awareness and funding for research into this devastating disease.

For those of you who know us we are not exactly in the peak of physical fitness and I'm sure you will appreciate the level of commitment and suffering we are likely to endure in completing this challenge - 300 miles in just 4 days!  Please be aware that every penny you donate will go directly to the charity as we are funding the cost of the trip ourselves.
