Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!

My name is Mary Gorman and as an Ambassador for Action for Children, I convinced a group of my daredevil friends that raising money by plunging off a 120ft crane onto a 1000ft zipline slide across the glorious River Clyde from Bell's Bridge on was a great idea!!

Joining me were celebrity designer John Amabile, lead singer of Tamikas Treehouse Blair Gorman, TV business guru Chris Gorman and Miss UK Nieve Jennings.

Well we did it !! It was terrifying but very worthwhile! But now that we've zipped it's not too late to donate!

Known collectively as 'The Clyde Zippers', all money raised by our journey down the Clyde Slide is being donated to Action for Children whose overall aim is to enable and empower children, improve their emotional wellbeing, regardless of the obstacles in their way, and to help them reach their full potential as fully functioning, confident adults.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action for Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now while you still can!
