Last October,after a few drinks,I was challenged to grow my hair for a year....Never a man to steer clear of a bet I of course leapt at the opportunity,if only to give Noddy Holder a run for his money!!..I am getting many very odd looks and the occasional "Oi....Fagin!!" heckle....There may also be the opportunity of becoming a James May double...So I'm not having my hair cut until the middle of October this year,and will, no doubt, look very silly...But....Its all for a very good cause....The money I raise is being split between charities....Archie,our son, was born with Talipes,the modern day name for Clubfoot,and after numerous operations is so much better,loves his sport,his passion being rugby at school and Old Alleynians Under 11's..The support we have had from STEPS has been immense,and this is a lovely way to say thank you..The challenge was offered at the EMERGING MARKETS Ball,they raise a fantastic amount of money for various charities every year,these charities include Task Brasil,Downside Up,Health Unlimited,Empower and Cotlands...The money I raise will be split ,half for STEPS and half for the Emerging Market Ball Charities. So please dig deep and give what you can,there will of course be photo updates,and I will be around in public for you all to see and laugh at!!
