I am running on behalf of the RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Every year the RNLI saves thousands of lives around our coastline and as a sailor I know only too well how reassuring it is to know that they are out there. They are entirely funded by donations so your sponsorship goes directly to maintaining the amazing service they provide.

For every £1 raised, 78p goes on operations, 3p on support and 19p on fundraising. With Gift Aid, the RNLI can claim an additional 28% from the UK Tax man!
