I did it!!

An official UK Ironman.

14 hours & 50 minutes after the starter gun went off I crossed the finishing line with the boys running along beside!

The swim took an 1 hour and 45 minutes  - cold, dirty water & 1600 people getting in the way.

The cycle took 7 and a half hours - sore bum, & sick of sugar gels, bars & drinks.

The marathon was a combination of crawling, walking & the occasional jogging - overall a further 5 hours & 20 minutes. 

With my co-driver we drove back up to Edinburgh throught the night & made it back for the boys to be in school Monday morning.

Have raised loads of money for Marie Curie Cancer Care ,with lots more pledges still to come!
