Recently my son Connor (12) was diagnosed as having Leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment within the Schiehallion Ward at Yorkhill.  This ward is is one of the UK’s specialist children’s cancer and leukemia treatment centres with 18 individual rooms for children to stay during their treatment.  The ward  try to supply TV’s, Digiboxes and Playstations in the rooms, as well as providing a playroom with toys for younger children and education facilities.  The ward is named after a Munro in Perth, and on Sunday 31 October there is a group of us going to climb this Munro, being sponsored with all monies raised being donated to the Schiehallion Ward at Yorkhill.
