We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can
Story
Spare just a few minutes for such a great cause!
On 18th August I will be cycling 480km from London to Paris on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Care. My aim is raise at least £1400 for this vital charity which is why I need your help today.
In 2009 I lost my wonderful Grandad, Fred Welch, after his short battle with cancer. It's in his memory that I decided to take up the challenge of cycling to Paris to raise funds for cancer care. Macmillan do an incredibly important job improving the lives of millions of people who are affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.
Having gone through this situation it made me realise just how important their work is, not only to the patients but the families of cancer sufferers. Since then, more friends have been affected by this horrible disease which only reinforces my decision to do this.
In return for your support, I’ll be training especially hard over the coming months and will keep you posted on my progress and of course the aftermath of the 480km challenge!
Please click on the donate button today and it will take you just a few minutes to complete. If you donate through justgiving it will mean more money will go to the charity with Giftaid. Thanks in advance
At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can.
