We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. If you've made it this far you may have heard that on the 18th of July a group of us from Cooper Parry will be cycling the entire length of Liverpool to Leeds canal. In one day.

It's the single longest canal in Britain at a whopping 127.25 miles and took 40 years to build. Our aim is to complete the ride within 18.5 hours, the time it took the only other successful team we know of.

We're doing this challenge in aid of The Stroke Association which is a charity who aim to reduce strokes through health education and research along with offering support to families who have been affected by a stroke.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online for a great cause. Many thanks for your support!

Training update 5/6/08 - We've currently racked up 180 miles in preparation with the aim being to get close to 1000 miles before we attempt the ride

Training update 16/6/08 - The total training mileage has now reached 300 miles with the longest ride to date being 63 miles at the weekend. That's the equivalent of Nottingham to Wakefield but is still just under half the distance!
