This year we are supporting CHASE hospice care for children. A charity set up in the South East of England that provide support to families with children and teenagers who are not expected to reach their 19^th Birthday. They offer nursing and care along with practical and emotional support to help the families make the very best of their time together however long it may be.

It costs around £4million a year to run CHASE. With little statutory funding available they rely on supporters and fundraising for 93% of their income.

Coutts Guildford Office have decided to support CHASE this year and already volunteered their time to paint fences at the renowned ‘Christopers Childrens Hospice’ in Guildford and so our next challenge commences…..

We are joining forces with our colleagues at The Tunbridge Wells office to walk across 40 miles of the ‘North Downs Way’ in just one day.

On the 10 October 2009 the Guildford Team of Coutts will set off at 7.00 am from Newlands Corner and walk across 20 miles to Mertsham where we will meet with our colleagues who are coming from the opposite direction.

For all that know the Guildford Team you will appreciate this is a challenging task and we would ask you to encourage us by donating and supporting the excellent work that CHASE undertake.
