Story

FILM-MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Cows go moo. Ducks go quack. Sheep go baa. Human beings have opinions. That’s the sentiment behind the short film Last Tango in Croydon currently in production and to be screened in May.

Being way too lazy to run a marathon or climb Kilimanjaro, I came up with the idea of making a movie to raise money and awareness for The Place2Be, a wonderful charity dedicated to the emotional wellbeing of children.

The film stars veteran actors Keith Barron and Peter Baldwin and is set in a dilapidated nursing home. It tells a story of a old man who nearly did so many things in his life, but fell short because of forever trying to please those around him. It centres on the man’s conversations with a young boy and features a bank robbery and some tango!
