Story
I intend to be Skydiving on the 9th May (date has now been confirmed) to raise money for St. Andrews Hospice in Airdrie. My cousin spent his "last couple of weeks" in here while suffering from cancer. The staff are very helpful in looking after him, and making sure everything was as comforting as possible. I wish to repay the charity for everything they done so thought this seemed appropriate.
Heres the charities website: http://www.st-andrews-hospice.com/
the amount of donations actually required to run this charity really hits home: "St. Andrews Hospice’s annual running costs are approximately £4.2M of which nearly £2.2M has to be raised each year from public donations. This is a weekly fundraising target of £42,000."
Cheers,
Craig
