Well! 7 months to go and so far managed to raise £141 not bad start with the help of gift aid the tax man has to give 28% more to every pound i raise so in actual fact managed to raise £175.

my original target was to make £1000 since this is the first time i have ever attempted to do anything for charity i have decided to lower my target to £500 however restassured i will be aiming to get more than that!

I would like to thank WSH IT department for their contributions to help me reach my new target much nice one guys :D

Introduction to destruction
=========================

Well those of you reading this are probably shocked as I am to see my ugly mug appearing for a fund raising event for those of you who stumbled upon this by mistake I'm doing a sky dive for local Charities!! My name is Terry Hogg I have lived in Bury St. Edmunds all of my life. It struck me late one night whilst walking home drunk as a skunk from a far away beer festival, wouldn't it be a laugh to fall out of a plane! Morning after I was completely oblivious to what I brews I had been drink or who I had insulted that night during the beer festival.

The only thought that was still in my brain was doing a 'free fall' then I remembered when I had a similar mad idea to do bungee jump for charity which never went ahead seeing as I was only 9 at the time! but now 19, older and much much more stupid =) I have never stepped foot on an air craft of any kind in my life as I am scared of flying and also never been higher on a multi story car park above level 9 yeah hights are not my thing.....

I also have a thing about enclosed spaces and just thing 2 mile high inside a tiny air craft. That must have been one hell of a beer festival =D I cannot say much about the event as these are the first few days into planning and fund raising however I will say that I am aiming to jump in July 2006 and all proceeds will go to St Nicholas' Hospice and Macmillan cancer unit.

I am aiming for at least £1,000 quid as I am told funeral expenses can be quite costly and hey if I survive the 2 mile fall though the air the more money goes to charity what could be better so please donate today and don't be stingey! more updates to come! and I shall also be posting my will ;P

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Nicholas' Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
