Thanks for taking the time to visit our page.
On the 6th of June the crazy people pictured to the left from CRGP Ltd http://www.crgp.co.uk/ including Gareth Merser, Roger Fleming, Martin Ward, Esther Weir, Amy Caw & Michelle McIntyre will be taking part in this years Speyside challenge. This Entails walking 54 miles (none stop) of the speyside Way route from Boat of Garten to Spey Bay in 24hrs. Yup that's right, walking through the night!
The Speyside 24hr Challenge promises to be one of the most challenging events of its kind this year. A personal challenge, it will be both physically and mentally rewarding - improving fitness and raising funds for The Prince & Princess of Hospice.
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice brings comfort and peace of mind to patients for whom cure is no longer possible. They take a holistic approach, recognising their patients' emotional, social and spiritual needs as well as practising advanced pain and symptom control. They treat the person, not the disease - and also offer practical and emotional support to families and carers in the most difficult of times.
All care is free, regardless of patients' circumstances.
It costs the Hospice some £3 million each year - and, despite generous support from NHS Greater Glasgow, two out of every three pounds must come from voluntary contributions and fundraising activities.
That means that they must raise around £6,000 every working day, just to keep the doors open!
As you will agree this is a worthy cause and whilst thinking how sore our feet will be we please ask you to kindly donate as much as you can in support of our efforts so that we can raise as much money as possible for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.
Thanks for your support
