As joint Quartermaster for the 12th Enfield Scout group, I am running the London marathon to try and raise £2500 to help towards the renovation of our headquarters and the much needed replacement of ageing equipment.

I have been involved with the group for nearly 40 years and it has had a constant place in my life since I joined as a Cub in 1980. I am surrounded by leaders who share this dedication and passion. Scouting has provided me with so many opportunities and life skills and the 12th Enfield Scout group still continues to do this for today's geneneration of children.
We took on the site at Stratton Ave in a derelict condition and have been working hard over the last few years to get it back to a condition whereby we can continue provide a fantastic facilty for teaching children all aspects of Scouting that they can use in their everyday lives in a fun and exciting way.

Please support this wonderful group in all that they provide for our children today and hopefully for their children and generations to come.
