    Story

West SILC is a special school based in the West of Leeds catering for pupils aged 2-19 years with difficulties ranging from moderate to complex and multiple learning needs, including those with life limiting conditions. We are a multi-site provision, with students placed in the setting most suitable to accommodate their needs.

Our Farnley Academy Site provision is our MOVE Centre of Excellence and we were re-certified in 2013 with a visit from the Countess of Wessex. This site hosts our children and young people with complex and multiple learning needs. We are very proud to be entering a group of students from our Farnley site into the 10th Special Olympics Event at Sheffield in August 2017, but require financial support to enable this to happen.

These children and young people have been working very hard to improve their skills and participate at the event. Any support you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
